Betty Who at Webster Hall

I had the pleasure of attending and shooting the Betty Who show at Webster Hall, a venue in New York I had never been to but absolutely loved. I remember listening to Betty Who back in the day because I was a huge Troye Sivan fan (Happy Little Pill + Blue Neighbourhood era). I haven’t really checked in on Betty Who in a while, so I went into this show pretty blind. I have to say, I was immediately met with a smile on my face when she walked on stage. She knew how to work a stage, her two backup dancers and her staying in perfect sync the entire time, I was truly mesmerized. I couldn’t get over the fans in the crowd, everyone was so cute and seemed to be having the time of their lives.

The show was on June 3rd, and that couldn’t have felt more perfect. What a way to kick off Pride Month truly. Pride flags were strewn throughout the crowd, you could tell everyone was feeling themselves, and feeling safe in the space that was created.
If you get the chance to go to a Betty Who show on this tour, I suggest you do so. There’s still a good amount of dates left on this tour, and you can check to see if any of them are close to you here!
